Chapter 2
John wakes early the next morning with Evangeline lying on top of him.He gently kisses her on the top of the head.She wakes up,smiles that beautiful smile,kisses him back and says I love you.
"I love you too baby what do you say we both take the day off and oh I don't know pick a wedding date."
"Oh John do you mean it you are finally ready to pick a date."
"Yeah so how about it?
Ok deal McBain.I think sometime in the spring."Evangeline said
"Spring is a long way off."John said
"Ok when do you want to do it."Evangeline asked
"Today."
"Today,John be serious we can't get married today."
"Why not?"John whinned
"Because there's to much to do."
"Ok then you pick a date but make it soon."John said
"Ok how about Feburary 15th."
"You want to get married on my Birthday."
"Well you would never forget our anniversary."
"I don't care how stupid I act sometimes I would never forget the anniversary of the day I stand up in front of our family,friends and God and say."
"I John Patrick McBain take you Evangeline Marie Williamson to be my wife."
"It will be the most important day of my life.So if you really want to get married Feb.15th then that's when we'll do it."
"Good I'm glad you agreed.I already booked the church."
"Are you telling me that you were so confident that I would agree to the date that you went ahead and booked the church?"
"Yes are you angry?"Evangeline asked nervously
"No I'm amazed that you know me so well that you can be that confident."John smiled that oh so sexy smile.
"Well John we've been together for almost 2 yrs.So I think I know you better than you know yourself."
"I love you Vangie."
"I love you too Johnny Mac."
They spend the rest of the day snuggled under the covers watching movies and dreading having to go back to the real world tomorrow.
