Chapter 17

"Coming! Coming!" Keesha laid the map down for Kevyn’s bassinet down and headed for the door. Unfortunately it was someone she didn’t want to see, Brian.

"Hello officer."

"Hello Ms. Ward."

"There’s a reason why you’re here so just tell me."

"Ms. Ward why so much hostility?"

"Because you’re only here to make Jason mad."

Jason, holding little Kevyn stayed in the kitchen as he listened to his wife at the door with Brian. He would’ve went out there, but she sounded like she was handling things on her own.

"Not necessarily."

"Then tell me what you want and leave."

"Well the PCPD is closing the investigation on your cousin’s accident."

"Why doesn’t that surprise me?"

"We haven’t been able to find out who was the culprit and seeing as though its been months since the incident has happened with no results, we’re closing the case."

"Wow that’s great, thanks for all your help or lack thereof, goodbye."

Keesha slammed the door and sat down on the couch. Jason waited a minute before coming back into the living room.

"Who was at the door?" pretending as if he didn’t know.

"Brian, ugh."

"What did he want?"

"To come by and tell me that they couldn’t find anything on Justus’ brakes being cut."

"Because me and Sonny already took care of that." Keesha looked up at Jason in

confusion.

"Come again?"

"It was a drug dealer he put behind bars."

"And when were you going to tell me this?"

"When everything was situated, we got everything under control."

"Right….well I really wish you would share something like that with me a little sooner than just now."

"We didn’t find out who it was until this past weekend and we took care of him."

"Right…I’m sorry, I’m just, exhausted."

"No, I’m sorry, you’re right I should have told you earlier."

"Its ok" she sighed sitting down next to Jason.

"Well the good news is that Carly and Sonny are going to be baby sitting for us."

"Boy she is going to be happy, I think she’s trying to create some sort of arranged marriage thing for them."

"Oh boy."

"Well Morgan is a nice boy…."

"They’re just babies!" Keesha couldn’t help but laugh at Jason. "I’m kidding! Jeez, take a joke hon."

"I’m trying."

"Well please do." Keesha, who was still laughing got up and fixed up the rest of Kevyn’s

things.

"You know, um, maybe you could pack a few days of clothes."

"What are you talking about?"

"You said that after Kevyn was born we could get married. I can have everything set up for us to get married in a day…" Keesha slowly turned around in shock.

"You’re kidding right?"

"No." Keesha turned around fully and looked at Jason.

"You want to get married? In two days?"

"Why not?"

Silence filled the room. Keesha had to process everything. She did tell him that they would get married after Kevyn. It had been almost 4 months since then and all the weight she gained was now lost, but….wow, two days? Jason sat nervously as he waited for her to reply. Maybe she would say no, throw his ring off and head for the hills.

"Who are we going to invite to a wedding in two days?"

"I don’t know, Sonny, Carly, the kids, Justus."

"Well what about Alan and Monica and your grandmother? Your sister?"

"Uh…."

"Your grandmother would be so happy to be at your wedding, we definitely wouldn’t have everything in order."

"I don’t want to have the wedding at the Quartermaine mansion."

‘I’m not asking you to, but you have some family that I think you would be happy to join in everything."

"No Edward."

"Ok, I’m not to happy about Edward being there but if Lila is there, then he will be too."

"Keesha, I tried the big ceremony wedding and that night Carly was kidnapped by Ric."

"You also had a wedding where your family wasn’t involved and didn’t even know until weeks later. I’m not trying to downgrade what happened to Carly, but maybe it’ll be different this time."

"You really want it like that?"

"Yes I do." Jason held Keesha’s hands and sighed. He could see in her eyes it was what she really wanted. Just talking about a big wedding, he saw that spark in her eyes that made his heart skip a beat.

"I’ll see what I can do about getting the church in two days, you see about getting a dress."

"I can’t believe this, we’re actually getting married."

"Yeah we are."

Chapter 17

"This is amazing!" Michelle sighed.

"I’m just surprised she convinced Jason to wait a week to get married, he really loves her" Carly said walking through the other side of the room. "I swear you have to whole world here, Port Charles, Philly, Springfield, Oakdale, jeez, you are popular."

"That she is, now if she would only come out of that room so she could show us that pretty dress that Jason bankrolled for her."

"Hey Jason doesn’t care, whatever his lady wants, his lady gets."

"Yeah whatever Keesha! Come out!"

Carly began to bang on the door. Keesha looked at herself once more in the mirror. Here she was getting married again, but this time it was different, she felt different. She couldn’t wait to get out there and be Mrs. Keesha Morgan, so why was she still in the dressing room?

"Keesha?"

"Coming!"

Keesha picked up the fluffy Cinderella style dress and headed for the door. As she emerged out of her room all the women in the room gasped at the sight og her. She looked like a princess. "Oh you guys all look great!" Keesha looked over at each of her bridesmaids, Carly (yes surprisingly, who knew they could become friends? Not me!) Michelle Bauer, Marah Lewis, Bonnie McKechnie, Emily, Marina and Harley Cooper and Katie Fraiser. They all looked beautiful in their periwinkle dresses.

"Are you nervous?" Katie asked.

"You know what? No, I’m not."

"That’s great, I wasn’t nervous when I married Simon and that’s how I knew it was true love."

"Plus Jason’s pretty hot" Bonnie laughed.

"Ok, ok, now we have to do this tradition before our lady Keesha walks down the aisle ok?" Marina grabbed Keesha’s hand and pulled her to a seat. "Sit, sit, now every bride has the something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue, I think that’s how it goes, anyways, um from all your friends from Springfield, we’ve managed to pull a few strings at the last minute. This is from Blake, she wanted to come but you know with the twins, Ross and being locked in the GL closet.."

"Locked in a closet?"

"Focus, now since she couldn’t be here she sent you this. This is something new, this is some jewelry she got for you, now of course you can’t wear them until later since you have on those tasty diamonds Sonny’s friend got for you."

"Aw that’s so sweet! I’ll have to thank her."

"Ok now here is something borrowed, this is from my wedding from Phillip, my garter, it kept me very, very lucky that night if you know what I mean."

All the females in the room laughed. Nothing like thinking about her best friend Harley and her former stepson getting it on, yarg.

"Well thank you Harley."

"I know its supposed to be borrowed, but keep it because um, I don’t want it anymore, seeing as though that’s going to be replaced with Gus’ real soon."

"Ok, my turn!" Bonnie came dancing over to Keesha. "Well since Marina here put everything out of order by giving Blake’s gift first, here’s something old from me and my mom, these are some shoes that we found on a shopping spree in France." Bonnie pulled out the beautiful open toe, jewel incrusted heels. Keesha’s eyes grew wide at the elaborate shoes.

"Oh Bonnie, these are just…just too wow."

"Hey I’m a duchess."

"Thank you so much."

"And last but no least, something blue, this has been passed down to every female in the Quartermaine family who gets married, now I know Jason doesn’t technically considers himself a Quartermaine anymore but it was kind of hard to find something blue in one week." Emily opened the jewelry case and pulled out the beautiful bracelet and placed it on Keesha’s wrist.

"Oh Emily this is stunning, thank you."

"Now with that being said, are you ready?" Keesha looked up at Katie and smiled.

"More than ready."

~*~

Jason’s ears perked up as he heard the wedding march being played. All the women in the wedding looked lovely, he couldn’t wait to see Keesha.

"Are you ready lil’ bit?"

"Oh so ready." Justus led Keesha to the doorway of St. Timothy’s. Brown eyes connected with blue and never left one another. She looked so gorgeous coming down the aisle coming towards him.

"She’s stunning" Sonny whispered to him.

"I know." Keesha finally made it down the aisle and faced Jason who was already a little teary eyed.

"Dearly beloved we are gathered here today in the union of one Jason Morgan and Keesha Ward. God has brought these two together in holy matrimony to spend the rest of their natural lives together as one. Is there anyone here who can find just cause why these two should not be married?"

Jason looked into Keesha’s eyes. There in the church together all he could think about was all the misdeeds he did to keep Keesha with him….

{{FLASHBACK}}

"Is this the guy?"

"Yup, boss I’m not sure about this."

"Max…" Max took that as a sign that his concern to what Jason was about to do was unwelcome. Quickly Max left Jason alone with the young man that he was told to bring there.

"Mr. Morgan" he said at him nervously.

"Look you don’t know me and I don’t know you ok. I need you to get the job done, did Max run everything past you?"

"Yes, break in, chloroform the guy in the wheelchair, scare the girl."

"Don’t touch her."

"I won’t."

Jason didn’t like the tone the young man gave him. For this plan to work he had to show Keesha that staying with him would be the safest choice, but he didn’t want anything bad to happen to her in his quest to win her back. Jason grabbed the young man up by his collar and looked him dead in the eye.

"You know what will happen to you if you touch her."

"Yes Mr. Morgan."

"Good then don’t, or you won’t like the end result."

Jason unhanded the man and looked at him once more before leaving out of the docks. Tonight was the night Keesha would be his again.

{{FLASHBACK ENDS}}

"Alright since no one disagrees with this, I will continue, Mr. Morgan and Ms. Ward have told me that they wanted to recite their own wedding vows, please do so."

Jason snapped out of his trance and looked over at the priest and back to Keesha.

"Um, I’ll go first" Keesha whispered. Keesha looked up into Jason’s eyes and took a deep breath before speaking.

"Here we stand before witnesses, to make vows this day,

Love, honor, cherish, until death, do they say.

This is my pledge, my promise, my creed,

These faith-given words, that I will now read.

For you, all my love, both body and soul

It’s what brought us together, it’s what makes us whole.

With our faith in the Church, we will walk with the Lord,

My life for yours, our destiny to unfold.

Honoring you is a task well received

For respect and commitment is something we need.

I will always respect you, on this long road ahead,

I commit my life to you, My love whom I wed.

One cherishes a treasure, something dear to the heart,

I will cherish your love, and always impart,

My thoughts and concerns, remain open, sincere,

Through good times and bad, every day of the year.

Until Death is a theme that is best left unsaid

For death has no place with the men I wed.

But Eternal life, states our faith in the Son,

Means that even in death, we will always be one.

This ring that I give you is my promise of love,

Of our future together, with the Lord God above.

I take you as my husband, let true witness bear,

With this ring I wed, your life in my care.

Jason, I love you so much I don’t think there are any words to profess it all. You’ve given me strength, hope and above all love. You blessed me with a beautiful daughter that is just beyond perfect. Today will be cemented forever in my heart as the day I have my heart and soul to you and became Mrs. Jason Morgan."

Tears that were now hidden behind Jason’s blue eyes were now flowing freely down his face. Her words were so beautiful and touching that he didn’t know he could be moved like that until Keesha said it herself.

"Alright, now you’re turn Jason." Keesha wiped the tears from his eyes as well as her own.

"Now I don’t know how I’m going to follow that one but I’ll try." Jason took a deep breath and proceeded. Keesha, you are my greatest love and my last love. Until I met you I didn't give true love much thought, but since you came into my life, I struggle desperately to find the words to tell you how much I love you-how I adore you. It is difficult for me to verbalize my feelings for you, because mere words can't begin to express my deep love. I thank God for you and Kevyn , and I pledge myself to you now, to be your ever-faithful husband. I give you my mind, my body and my heart and I promise to love you and cherish you for as long as we both shall live."

A couple of people in the audience wiped tears of their own as Jason and Keesha declared their love for each other.

"Would the groomsmen please provide us with the rings?"

Sonny took the two platinum rings from Michael and passed them the priest.

"The wedding ring is the outward and visible sign of an inward and spiritual bond which unites two loyal hearts in endless love. It is a seal of the vows Jason and Keesha have made to one another. Bless O God these rings, that Keesha and Jason, who give them, and who wear them, may ever abide in thy peace. Living together in unity, love and happiness for the rest of their lives." The priest then passed the ring over to Jason to give to Keesha.

"Keesha, I give you this ring as a symbol of our vows, and with all that I am, and all that I have, I honor you. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, With this ring, I thee wed." Jason’s shaking hand slid the silver band on Keesha’s slender finger.

"Jason, I give you this ring as a symbol of our vows, and with all that I am, and all that I have, I honor you. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, With this ring, I thee wed." Keesha, slid the silver band upon Jason’s finger and smiled.

"In as much as you have each pledged to the other your lifelong commitment, love and devotion, I now pronounce you husband and wife, in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Those whom God has joined together let no one put asunder, Jason You may kiss your bride!"

Happily Jason kissed Keesha as if they were in a room by themselves. During the whole ceremony as he wanted to do was kiss her, taste her sweet lips, massage her tongue with his own and now that the had the chance he wasn’t holding back. The whole crowd cheered, for now it was official. They were married, Jason and Keesha Morgan.

End

Sweet love songs played throughout the night at Keesha and Jason’s reception. Jason smiled as he watched Keesha reconnect with some of the friends she made in Springfield and Oakdale. She just looked so happy. The dinner was excellent and everything went off without a hitch. Though he continuously said he didn’t want a huge wedding, the more the merrier. Even if that meant some of the Quartermaine’s.

"Congratulations again" Mel said grabbing Keesha’s arm.

"Ditto."

"Thanks Mel, thanks Rick, I’m glad you all made it at short notice." Mel and Rick noticed Keesha’s eyes wandering away.

"We’re going to let you get back to your husband."

If they only knew that wasn’t what she was looking at. Keesha joined Jason’s side as they both looked on to Edward holding and playing with Kevyn.

"Keeping your eye on him?" Jason whispered.

"Like a hawk."

"Such a beautiful child" Edward said looking down at his baby great granddaughter who was smiling up at him. If she only knew what kind of man he really was. "Look at that smile, yes, I see corporate raider all in her Lila. She’s going to be head of ELQ someday, you’ll see."

"Oh Edward."

"Kevyn Quartermaine, sounds so much better than Keyvn Morgan." After hearing that, immediately Sonny came over and took little Kevyn out of Edwards hands.

"Alright, she’s coming with me." Edward grunted as he watched the thug walk off the future of ELQ.

"Now you stop that right now Edward, you’ve had her for 20 minutes."

"20 minutes is not enough!"

"That’s more time than what you’ve spent with Michael." Edward just growled.

"So are you guys ready to go?"

"Yup, we sure are, we just want to say goodbye to our baby girl before we leave."

"Yeah." Sonny passed his little goddaughter over to her mother and father so they could

say goodbye before heading out on their honeymoon.

"You be good for your uncle sonny ok?"

Kevyn let out a giggle which totally signified to Jason that she was going to give it to Sonny and Carly, but hey they were the ones who volunteered to watch her for the week while Keesha and Jason had a week for of wedded bliss. Keesha bent over and kissed her little girl once more before joining Jason and leaving out the back exit of the banquet hall.

"You ready Mrs. Morgan?"

"I’m more than ready Mr. Morgan."

~*~

Jason carried Keesha into the beautiful bedroom that he assigned one of the workers on Sonny’s island to fix up for him.

"Jason this is so wonderful."

"You like it?"

"I love it, but not as much as I love you."

Keesha wrapped her arms around Jason and placed a tantalizing kiss on his lips. She moved her hands down to his and began to pull him in the bedroom but he wouldn’t budge.

"There’s a tradition and you know it."

Jason scooped Keesha into his arms and carried Keesha into the bedroom. Never breaking their kiss, Jason gently laid Keesha on the bed and made his over to the radio. He had Stan make a cd fill with love songs just for this moment. Jason made his way back to the bed and gently laid on top of her. Keesha looked into his beautiful blue eyes and smiled. He wasn’t Jason Quartermaine but somehow her heart opened up and fell in love with Jason Morgan.

"Everything alright Mrs. Morgan?"

"Everything is perfect Mr. Morgan."

Jason couldn’t wait any longer. Jason leaned in and kissed her soft peach flavored lips. The kiss started off soft and smooth, but as soon Keesha felt Jason’s right hand massage her thigh she deepened the kiss. Just her kisses made him weak. He had to have more of her. Jason removed his hands from away from thigh and face and began to work at getting his suit off. Keesha joined in operation: suit be gone. Soon Jason wore nothing at all, now it was Keesha’s turn. With the greatest of ease, Jason’s unzip the back of Keesha’s dress leaving her semi-nude. Jason ran his hand across her flat stomach before placing soft kisses across it and the soft skin between her breast. Jason moved up to her delicious lips. Jason moved his hand behind her back, unhooking her bra tossing it to the floor next to her dress. His big warm hands moved lower to the tiny white lace underwear that covered paradise. His index fingers wrapped around the bands on the side and slid them off. There together they were finally unblocked by clothes. Both almost automatically licked their lips for what was about to come. Jason moved parted Keesha’s thighs apart and moved in between. In one motion he entered her. Both gasped at the feeling that overcame them. Keesha wrapped her arms around Jason’s back and held on tight as each thrust sent her reeling.

"Oh Jason" she sighed as he moved in deeper.

"Say it again."

"Jason" she cried.

"Again."

"Jason."

Jason couldn’t get enough of Keesha’s breathy bellow of his name. They sent him further and further into total bliss. Jason could feel her release coming. She clamped her legs tighter around his waist as he picked up speed. Keesha’s moans filled the room as each orgasm over took her. Jason cried out Keesha’s name as his orgasm flowed throughout his body. Jason collapsed on Keesha and laid his forehead on her chest. Jason stayed within her while they both regained control of their breath. Jason began to move but Keesha stopped him.

"No, stay" she whispered. Jason moved his head back to the spot on her chest while Keesha ran her fingers through his hair until they both fell off to sleep in each other’s arms.

~*~

Jason woke up before Keesha from which he was still in her arms. Slowly he eased out not waking her. She stirred, detecting that he was no longer there and turned on her stomach. She was the only person he knew that slept on their stomach. Jason reached behind her and placed the cover further up her back. He placed a kiss on the back of her neck, slid on his boxers and headed to the bathroom. Jason, who was a bit still sleepy ran some cold water. He was a married man again, married to a kind, beautiful sweet woman. From spending his time with her he didn’t understand how she could forget about her but he was glad that she was opened her heart to him and loved him in return. He was glad she was back in his life and he couldn’t wait to start their life as the Morgan’s. The psychic was right, he wouldn’t know true happiness unless he was back with his first love and that was Keesha but even with all the happiness and love the surged within his body, he couldn’t shake the memories of what he had to do to get her back to him. He almost lost his cousin for his actions. How could Keesha resist coming back to Port Charles if her beloved cousin was hurt? He wasn’t surprised when no one found out he was the one who cut Justus’ brakes, but seeing her sleeping next to him justified everything he did to bring her back to him. As he lifted his head he watched the cold water drip from his chiseled face, reminding him that around Keesha he was the loving warm hearted husband but forever he would remain callous, unfeeling Jason Morgan that did anything to get what he wanted. Even her.
