Undeniable Part 14

Keesha returned to her apartment, sorting through the mail that had accumulated. Her head was spinning from the events of the day. First Jason admits he loves me (in his own way), then I find out he dumped the Bird. There's no way I would've imagined things turning out this way."

Although she didn't want to admit it to Jason, he had hit a major nerve, about her marrying AJ. He was safe and deep down, Keesha knew, he had to be told the truth before they set a wedding date.

Even though she let Jason believe her doubts about his admission of "love," she could see the truth in his eyes. The same way he was able to read her, in the short amount of time they'd been together.

She decided to sit at the dinningroom table and review the remainder of her mail, before realizing the flashing light on the answering machine.

There were a total of eight messages. Three were pertaining to Ward House business, two more were from friends wanting to meet for lunch. But, the last two were from AJ.

(Beep) "Hey babe, sorry I missed you. Things must be really busy at Ward House. Dara and I have been working really hard to tie up the loose ends here. Well, I have to go, I'll call again tomorrow."

(Beep) "Hey Keesha, I can't talk long. I'll be catching a flight to New York tonight (Sunday). I should be home early Monday morning.

"I know things are busy with Ward House, but we really need to talk, so don't make arrangements to go in Monday. See you when I get home." (Click)

"Oh God, he probably wants to set a date for the wedding," she said, feeling a sense of panic.

"Well, tomorrow is the day. I won't be able to put it off any longer. I just pray I can find the nerve to break things off."

The detective pulled his SUV around the back of the Pine Valley Motel as his client instructed, apparently, not wanting anyone in Port Charles to become suspicious.

He went to room 112 and knocked twice, paused, then knocked again.

"Come in," the voice said from the other side of the door.

"Hey, how are you?" he said.

"There's no need for pleasantries. You have some important information for me, so let's get to it."

"Oh it's important," he smiled. "You'll be very happy with my services, after seeing this video. Maybe enough to include a bonus for a job well done?" he smiled handing over the tape.

"That depends if I'm satisfied," taking the tape from his hands.

"Well, why don't we sit down and watch it," he said pulling up a chair.

"I'd prefer to watch it alone. So why don't you get yourself something to eat at the diner in the motel and come back in say an hour."

Unable to hide his disappointment, the detective prepared to leave the room, before turning to his client. "Now you wouldn't be trying to give me the slip would you?"

"Don't worry, I'll be here when you get back. Just try not to bring any attention to yourself."

"Don't worry," he said closing the door.

After the tape was loaded into the VCR. It wasn't long before the vision of Keesha and Jason's acts of erotic lovemaking appeared on the screen.

(The sound of broken glass crashing against the wall and screams of profanity filled the room.)

"Fucking Bitch!"

"That bastard!"

The tape continued to play as Jason's declaration of love to Keesha sent Robin into frenzy.

"No, this can't be happening," she yelled, knocking over furniture in a blind fury. "He can't love her, he just can't."

Watching the tape over and over in a hypnotic state, the wheels of revenge were turning in Robin's head.

"They'll pay for this, if it's the last thing I do!"
