Undeniable Part 11

FLASHBACK

Jason couldn't believe how amazing the sex was with Keesha. He would've never imagined that she'd have the guts to go through with their passionate rendezvous in the library, but she was more than up for the challenge.

Despite his instincts to stay away from her, something deep within him knew that would be impossible. He didn't know what was happening between them. But he knew in a short amount of time, this woman had a hold on him that was so strong, he was willing to risk everything, even his relationship with Robin.

Sweet Robin, she gave him the space and time after the accident, to adjust to life as Jason Morgan. She never judged him or made comparisons to Jason Quartermane and he was grateful for that, even if he didn't know what it meant at the time.

He really did love and care about her. But until Keesha re-entered his life, it never occurred to him that something was missing.

As time went by, Keesha occupied his every thought. The taste of her lips, her soft brown skin, the fragrance of her hair. It took everything in him to keep Robin from being suspicious.

But when he found out through private sources, that AJ had purchased an engagement ring, he knew it was a matter of time before Keesha would accept his proposal. A deep sense of loss swept over Jason. At that moment, he knew what had to be done. He didn't want to hurt Robin, but he couldn't lose Keesha.

Knowing that Robin had to be in San Francisco for awhile, he thought it would be better to break the news to her there.

Robin was so happy when he arrived and anxious to take him on a tour of the city. They saw the standard tourist attractions and ate at the trendy restaurants. As their week was coming to an end, he finally told her "we need to talk."

"Jason, you look so serious," she stated uncertain of his strange behavior. "Is everything alright back home? Oh my god, did someone get hurt?"

"Calm down, everything and everyone in Port Charles is fine," he said trying to sound reassuring.

"God, you scared me," she said letting out a sigh of relief.

"Well, what is it?" she asked noticing the serious expression on his face.

"Robin, I really care about you," he started. "If it weren't for you, I would have left town or worse gone down a destructive path. But you helped me get my life on track and find a sense of peace within myself.

Robin's heart started to pound faster as she asked him the unimaginable. "Jason, are you trying to say that it's over between us?"

"Yes," Jason said never breaking the eye contact between them. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you."

"Where is this coming from," she asked as the tears fell from her eyes. "Everything seemed to be going fine and now out of the clear blue, you want to end things!"

"It's not sudden Robin. I just didn't know how to find the words."

"You couldn't find the words, but you certainly had no problem screwing me!"

"That was wrong of me to mislead you all this time," he said accepting her harsh words of anger.

"I think you're screwing someone else," she yelled. "I bet it's that slut CarlyRoberts, right!"

"I'm not sleeping with Carly," he stated. " I just feel it's best for you and I to go our separate ways. Besides, I would just be a liability to your career. Think about it. How would it look for a respectable doctor to have a mobster for a boyfriend."

"You, know it's for the best."

"I can't believe you're doing this to us," she cried. "You know I don't care what other people think. I know we can work this out, Jason."

"I'm really sorry Robin, especially for hurting you, but this is for the best," he said kissing her on the cheek as he left for the airport.

Jason knew that was harsh, but it was the right thing to do in the end. He didn't know what lay ahead, but he knew Keesha Ward led to that unknown destination.
