Keesha's heart raced as she stood outside the door of Jason's apartment. She knew being here was a big mistake. After all, she was risking the chance of being humiliated and rejected by the man who once loved her. No, that's not right. He was no longer Jason Quartermaine, now he wanted to be called Jason Morgan and wanted no part of her.
In a clear state of mind, Keesha wouldn't be here. She would have mourned losing Jason, wallowed in self-pity and finally pulled herself together and moved on with life, having their precious memories to keep her warm on cold and lonely nights.
However, with Jason Morgan walking around as a constant reminder, moving on was impossible to do, hard as she tried.
Being with AJ enabled her to get through some of the bad times and she was so grateful for the love and care he provided. But she just couldn't let go of Jason.
Waiting out side of his apartment building for the last four hours, she finally worked up the nerve to approach Jason Morgan. She needed to know once and for all if he had any feelings for her. Damn the consequences.
Taking a deep breath, she knocked on the door, but there was no answer. After knocking for what seemed like an eternity with no reply, Keesha feeling dejected decided to leave, when suddenly she heard the sound of the door opening.
"Oh God," she whispered as he stood in the doorway bare-chest with nothing but a towel wrapped around his waist. The sight of him could still make her hot.
As the water glistened off the muscular physique of his chest, he waited for her to state the reason for this visit, if he didn't already know. "Well, what do you want?" Jason asked staring at her with ice blue eyes that once were filled with warmth and love.
Almost losing her nerve, "May I come in for a minute?", Keesha asked.
"What's there to talk about Keesha" I've told you before, I'm not Jason Quartermaine and I never will be," with a slight annoyance in his voice.
"I have a proposition for you," she said as she nervously cleared her throat. If you don't like what I have to offer, I promise to leave your alone."
Intrigued by her comment and sensing her determination, Jason decided against his better judgment to let her in.
As he held the door open, she felt an electrical jolt go through her as their bodies slightly touched. The feeling didn't escape Jason, but he chose to ignore it.
Taking in the surroundings of his studio apartment, the first word to come to Keesha's mind was bare. Accept for his bed, a small table for eating by the window and a few minor pieces of furniture, there was nothing much that provided any traces of Jason Q.
Of course not, why would there be, she thought to herself. Stop it her mind yelled. He's not Jason Q, so get this over with.
Keesha observed the view of the harbor from his window, while Jason slipped into his standard code of dress, black jeans and white T-shirt. Finally growing impatient, "Okay so let's hear this proposition" he stated.
Keesha turned to face him and with all the confidence of a woman on a mission, "I want to fuck you!"
